Alexis Percival, a NYC based artist, graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2002 with a BFA (focus in Photography and Sculpture) and a BA in French. Her work is centered in photographic processes and text, often incorporating multimedia components. The artwork reflects her interests and inner deliberations about science, love, the past and language. All with a touch of tongue in cheek.
Alexis is also an event planner and sommelier who puts the art in party. She designs fanciful themed events, from invitation to degustation, all with a fabulous flair.
